17 June 2015 (Wednesday) : Franz Josef Glacier - Queenstown

Rise early this morning (0700hours) to witness the magnificent break of dawn in Glacier Country.

We will give a missed to the Fox Trail guided tour as we have young and elders with us. Instead, take a relaxing stroll and be mesmerized with its surroundings. Inhale fresh air as we look around for breakfast.

Check out Matheson Cafe, a highly recommended cafe for Glacier goers. It has the best views of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman and food to match. Open from 8am to 4pm.

Before we depart for Queenstown at 1100 hours, we may want to consider an activity for the kids!
